is anyone using this engine?how does it compare to YS and OS? the company is making big claims of power.

got my rossi 90 today and will finish the build this week, typical rossi quality and im sure it will kick heli butt

I haven't heard much about that motor but I can tell you that the YS SR's are kicking ass!:wink:

yeah the YS was my first choice but the Rossi was available. i used their car and plane engines in the past. they were a monster compared to the OS i replaced.

Well good choice i'm italian and my father used rossi in the past in it's F3A aeroplane they was a very powerfull motor.
Now i'm curious so i will wait your test to see if the Rossi motor are good also today.

thats what i am betting on. they claim to be vibe free and more powerful than the YS. this heli will be flying by next week, my supplyer is a bit slow. the build is complete and servos are installed..the model number of the rossi is 91HR.heli

i was wondering if that engine is ringed or not. i myself am thinking of a 90 size heli and i to have used the rossi car engines in the past

well just to let you all know the Rossi was removed and replaced by OSszh91. the rossi just wouldnt transition from idle to hover speeds. we tried everything and it just wont go.

is this engine the novarossi 91 or the rossi engine , are they the same engine or is the novarossi engine completely different ...

it was the Novarossi C91HR...this engine just didnt dial in i tried 10% 15% 30% none would work,the engine never seemed to seat the ring and compression is still low. the OS 91 has gotten better with every gallon and is now at 7.and my Synergy likes it.

thanks i was gunna get one to try out just to be different from ys and OS .... but now i will stick with YS

good choice and take your time breaking it in, dont let the peanut gallery push you to lean too soon.
