Guys...

Trying to update my version 2.0 to 2.3A. I have the 9V source connected. I have installed the USB drivers and plugged the interface into both the USB port and the charger. Click on the application (V2.3A) and hit the 'upgrade' button, all I get is 'waiting for a response'. Figured that maybe I had to step up with the updates, so tried going back to 2.00d. Still the same response.

The computer is seeing the interface on the com port (changes state when I remove it). I have my firewall turned off (just in case).

What is the normal sequence on both the PC and the charger when update in progress? How long does it take? The user guide leaves a lot to be desired in this case....

HELP??? Any ideas anyone?

thanks..

My guess is the USB driver did not install correctly or that it got installed on a very high COM port number. Try reinstall it or go into Control Panel and see what COM port it's was installed on and change to a lower number.

I tried this on both a desktop and laptop PC's. Same issue with both. The charger is powering up (not flat batt). Fireup, why do you suggest the COM port allocation maye be the issue? But I can try that too.

thanks...

When I installed on my laptop, it put it on COM9 and the software did not detect it. I reassign it to COM3 and it worked.
