We have some of the BEST AP guys in the business here on the freak (http://www.helifreak.com/forumdisplay.php?f=53).

Stay away from anything smaller or cheaper than a Trex or Dragonus Pro. I would suggest a 450 myself. Tons of parts and you can probably buy a used one cheap from someone looking to step up to a 600.

well you probably right for those who fly real rc heli in field regular for 6 month.

i have no single experience of field except some hours on 40 size trainer airplane.

LOL I made the mistake of buying a Raptor 60 for my first Helicopter. Easier to hover but crashes were EXPENSIVE.

Never had a plane.

I know people that stayed on a simulator for 6 months (religiously every day) then went and bought a 50 sized helicopter and were doing loops their first gallon of fuel. Flying helicopters is like playing an instrument. YOU HAVE TO PRACTICE!

I agree whole heartedly with DebianDog. Since you might be limited with funds, practice, practice and practice some more on a good Sim. RealFlight 3.5, FSOne or ?? But get good in hovering in all orientations and moving around. Stick with something bigger like a T-Rex, Mini-Titan, or Dragonus. Much, much more stable for beginners. If you get something small like a Blade, you'll have fun but spend a ton on repairs. Those little things really add up QUICK.
Have fun (most important as this is a "hobby") and good luck.
