Wll this charger work?

I have just bought a used Trex 450 from a guy and it came with two MaxAmps 2100 3S lipo packs. I have a GA-003 lipo charger that came with my Walkera 5#4 like the one HERE (http://www.helidirect.com/advanced_search_result.php?keywords=ga-003)

It says on the top, 2 cells 7.4v, 3 cells 11.1v, output .75A, and it has a jack for 2 cell and one for 3 cell lipo's. Can I use this charger to charge the above packs (the TAP's fit the charger)? I am not sure as this came with my Walkera which uses a MUCH smaller lipo battery pack than the one I want to try and charge with it.

I have ordered a Cellpro 4s but I want to charge the batteries and use the heli in the mean time untill the Cellpro shows up.

Not sure if it will work but even if it does 3/4A will take a long time to recharge. You really are better off buying a real charger.

Thanks HFG. I have ordered a Cellpro charger, I only want to charge the batteries untill the Cellpro shows up which from the States to Canada, might be a week or two for it to get here.

What would the normal amp draw be for these batteries when charging?

Usually takes 2 weeks from the day it is shipped. You usually want to charge a lipo at 1C.

2000mah = 2A@1C 4A@2C
2100mah = 2.1A@1C 4.2A@2C
3500mah = 3.5A@1C 7A@2C
