I use a tool to make an internal race on the link no matter what brand I use. If you do that they are nice and loose when snapped on but do not like to come off.
How do you make this tool Dog?
Glad you asked. Well I take a ball link and put a long bolt with a nut on it. The take a pair of pliers and scar up the ball (without deforming it). I put this tool in my drill. Snap on my pre-made links and give her a few spins in each direction for a second. Then snap them back off. Now if you try and hurry and pull it off while the drill is still moving. Congrats you runied it.
You can also use this nifty tool (http://www.ronlund.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=heli&Product_Code=CN2055)

Thanks for the Tip Dog!!! I will use that one.
I don't think the tool shown will work because the TT links are very small. But I think that tool works very well on Align links as I've been told.

look in the back of your mini titan manual and it shows the part number for the mini titan ball link sizer. not sure where you can order it from.

Any ACE dealer should be able to get it.

I have a mixture of align and TT ones throughout my head. They both work just fine, but I have had a few TT ones crack when threading the link rod into the ends. Other than that I have had no troubles with either.

Out of interest do people generally have links that are too tight or to loose. Just started building mine and they seem mostly to be too loose and although Bob (Finless) explains how to make a tight link looser, I've no idea how to make a loose link tighter!? Can anyone help please.
Cheers

Most simple solution is replacing it with a tighter one.
Haven't tried it myself, so maybe it doesn't do a thing,
but many plastics shrink if you re-heat them.(e.g. try a hot iron on polyester clothing).
Every type of plastic reacts differently to different temperatures and can deform slightly though(release of tension in fibre orientation)
Boiling water, heat gun or a oven are good to try on a spare....
I could go in detail why some links are tight or loose if you like but that's also a pretty long story ;)

My links like to pop off the grips but they have not done that in flight, only when I pick up the heli.
