Total newbie question - blade balancing

I am in the process of balancing my stock Lepton blades and have a question. What do most people use as the tape to add weight to the blades for finding the CG and blade balancing? I bought some auto trim tape, and either it is really light or my blades are ridiculously out of balance. I estimate I will need at least 10 turns of tape to get the CG lined up, which sounds like way too much to me. Is there a heavier alternative, or are my blades really that messed up?

Sounds like a lot of tape but I'm not familiar with auto trim tape. I use electrical tape and usually only need about a 2-4" length of it to get some of my blades in balance.

Thanks guys. I know electrical tape is much thicker. I will try that.
