I installed the new beta patch and when the phoenix starts fine but it is extremley jerky i have fooled around with the settings and it still freezes and jerks.
My specs are
AMD Opteron 165
Nvidia 8800 GTS
and 2 gig of ram.

Check the "Full Screen" display box again - installing the update unchecks this and runs the program in a window which takes a lot more display resources.

Already running full screen
I did a reinstall and now it seems fine

I have problem with sound of T-rex 450. It's some kind of noise or what, it sounds more like Picooz :confused:
Anyone has same problem ?

Already running full screen
I did a reinstall and now it seems fine
I noticed this as well after install. I figured that perhaps it was some of the DirectX drivers that needed a reboot to work properly. Once I rebooted, it worked fine. The next day, I went to play and the jerkiness was back. Reboot took care of the problem.
I am running a Radeon X850 Platinum video board.

Oh joy new problem for some reason throttle hold doesnt work during idle up mode. IT works with switch B but in real life i have it on E and want to keep there and it gets in in normal but not idle up.

The throttle hold problem would be in the radios setup, nothing to do with the sim.
