I got a bad vib today from either a fractured seesaw (stock plastic) or broken mating pins on my "Quick" (Japan) see saw cage. I caught this in time, or so I thought, came out of idle up and started to bring it down in normal when 12' from the ground it just dropped. The pitch arm right behind the servo snapped leaving me with nothing to do but watch. A guy at our club traced a crash earlier this year to the same part.

Has anyone else had trouble with these?

Must be pilot error.

And this from a guy whose first display of his heli flying skilz ended about 3 seconds after spooling up. "I'm losing my mind"... ;)

I'm pretty sure I've traced the failure to the metal seesaw cage / plastic seesaw combo. The Evo uses the long seesaw which has quite a bit of flex where the metal cage doesn't, putting all the stress on the pins. Still, the pitch arm shouldn't have fractured like that, if it didn't the heli would have at least landed safely.

I'm going back to all plastic for the seesaw. When I win the lottery I'll go full metal.
