I've developed a clicking noise when the right stick moves back to the right after I give the heli left aileron. I can also feel the pop or click. I removed the cover and inspected and it seems like it's coming from around the spring area, but I can't pinpoint the problem. The flat plastic seems to jump a little when the click happens. Any ideas on what may be causing this? Should I be concerned? Thanks.

I'd be concerned enough to track it down and fix it.

Could be as simple as the spring needing to be adjusted at it's attachment points. Could be something more serious like a broken part.

A broken part could come loose and get lodged in the mechanism while you're flying.

A spring not attached properly could pop off and fall into the case, and loose bits of metal bouncing around inside of an electronic device tend to let out the magic smoke.

Thanks, I'll check for grit and dirt. Below is a video of the problem. Notice the clicking at 0:01 and 0:08 of the video. Thanks.

I'm still having this clicking noise. I don't see any dirt or grit. If I may ask, where is the gimbal? Also, how would you clean the gimbal? thanks.

I don't see any dirt or grit. If I may ask, where is the gimbal? I'm assuming that it is where the two axis cross. How would you clean the gimbal? thanks.
