Can we use this charger as just a charger or will always going into a fault if it doesn't meet the requirements. I have a dualsky Li-Ion 2500mh transmitter battery with built in balancer. Now my problem is that the charger won't start charging this battery because the battery is now down to 9.4V. How can i get this charger to start charginh?

Thanks

You can set it to NiCd mode, set it to 8 cells (1.2v x 8 = 9.6v) and charge for a couple mins to get the voltage up high enough for the 1010 to recognize the battery. Be VERY careful doing this and don't go more than a couple mins in NiCd mode.

I'm not even sure how to get it into niCad mode? It has version 2.0 on it if that means anything?

2.0 doesnt support nicad mode. You have to upgrade to 2.3

Oops, my bad. I keep forgetting not everyone has the new firmware...
