my battery on my heli puffs *slightly* after flight, but once it cools down it's not puffed anymore, is it normaly for lipos to puff like this after flight? and is it safe to charge/use once they cool down and aren't puffed anymore?

also, is there an amount of time I should wait before charging my battery post flight? or when it gets to room temp is that good enough? the reason I ask is that I also have a FP evo lite and it runs very cool, when I get it off my heli it only takes like 5 min to cool down, I didn't know if I should be waiting like 15 or 30 minutes before charge though

thanks!

What kind of battery are you talking about, if it's an Align 22c........ you can expect it. See post !

yes it is the align battery and I was expecting it, just didn't know if it was safe to continue to use them (as long as the puff goes away when it cools)
