I got the CNC mixer arms recently and just put them on the other night but I am concerned about something. The screws holding them onto the blade grips just thread into the plastic. You cannot tighten them very tight or the mixer arm will become too stiff to move freely.

I am worried about these vibrating and coming off and I see nothing to indicate they won't.

They have bearings and really should be able to be fairly tight but more than just a mild snug torque on the screws and they seem to bind and get very stiff, so the screws cannot be too tight.

So, is there a way to be able to tighten the screw mounting it to the blade grip without causing the bearings to get too stiff or should I use some CA or something to make sure they don't come off ?

OR, is the problem that the CNC mixer arms are really intended only to be fitted onto the CNC grips? That might explain why they cannot be tightened and start to bind despite having bearings.

Just one thing, did you put the small washer in between the bearings when mounting the mixer arms? If you don't put the washer there they will bind when you tighten the screw into the blade grip.

There were no instructions about the washer. I tried putting on the side facing the blade grip and tried putting it on the outside but it seemed to make no difference. I did not, however, try putting it between the two bearings. I will give that a try, thanks.
