I have been reading and hearing about how some people believe that the Raptors are out of date and seem to believe that the new 600n are the new and better 50 size heli's. Last weekend I got to try the T-Rex 600 out. The 600n was great, fast and smooth---a well built machine. I really liked the response but, I'm still keeping my Raptors. Considering the upgrades that I have on my Raptors and how they fly, I honestly couldn't tell a big difference. In my opinion, my Raptors are just as good as the T-Rex. It's not about what you fly it's about your setup and how you fly it. I'm not a big 3-D freak. But, my Raptors do a wonderful job! Can anyone explain to me why some people seem to be giving up on Raptors? I'm most definetly not!

Because some people just have to have the "Latest and Greatest", the "New and Improved"! I've seen it for decades in R/C Car racing! "This new widget is going to make me World Champion!" I've flown a bunch of different machines, but like you still love my Rappy! It would take a lot to get me to change.

I have to say I am with you guys, I got caught up with all the hype about the Aurora when it was first announced and I am sure it will be a great heli, but I just love my rappy 50 and 90s. I plan on sticking with my Rappy's. Like Jimmy said, it would take a lot to make me change, as well.

Ditto , love my raptors also. Will stay with them. It would also take quite a bit for me to try something else.

I don't have a Raptor, but my mate at the feild does, his Raptor flys great every day no problems, I had my 600N since they first came out and I am still up grading to get it to fly with out vibrations etc, so you are very right in what you are saying, stick with a Raptor as all the problems if there were any were solved long ago. I hope they continue to update the Raptor because it seems to have the breeding.

I've got a Rexxy 600 and I love it, but I've also got a Raptor 50V2 sittin' here waiting for it's maiden flight.. I'll certainly be looking forward to the longer flight times for sure...

I started out with a V1 and sold it to a frend 3 years ago and she is flying today , Bill loves the 30 V1 so much he almost flys her every weekend.

I fly mine every weekend but its a 30 that was upgrade to a 50 w/ a few metal parts here and there. And now i'm in the process of updating it to a v2 crash by crash. lol frames are done, now working on the rotor head.

I started with a 30v1, then got a 30v2, then got a 50v2, then upgraded the 30 to a 50, then changed the first 50 to an electric E-620. :)

The design is solid. Most of the mechanical bugs were solved years ago and in the hands of an expert the little Rappy can fly maneuvers I'll NEVER be able to do.

My 50 nitro hog has been upgraded to the max - Kasama head, and every Quick UK part that will fit. It flies great and doesn't look too outdated sitting next to the "Latest and Greatest" Wizbang Whatever that's at the field.

I plan to keep mine for a long, long time. :cheers
