My shots from Hamilton, New Zealand, taken between rain down pours. Our local time: started at 20:30, first photo above at 21:37, last at 21:48. Still nearly full after 90 minutes.

This may sound stupid, but what are the frond like things on the bottom left side?

Those would be trees. As the eclipse went total, the moon was beginning to drop below the horizon. Another half hour and I'd have missed it.

It was at "10 o'clock" for us. Perfect, except for the weather.
Next time in 3 years, it will be too low at dusk.
