can anyone out there give a description of the wiring in a night blade? A schematic perhaps?

I am using the MS 600's and align 325's (old black ones)

My little charger popped and I'd just like to use a regular lipo charge at a super low rate...

Just not sure where to tap into.

thanks

I am like you, I have MS Composite and Align night blades and have different size jumpers.
Didn't know what was going on.

Give Dave at GOHBEE a call. He explained to me the old 3-prong jumper is for Nimh batteries(old technology) and if you are using 2-prong jumpers the blades are most likely using Lipo batteries.

Most of the manufacturers are moving to internal Lipos. I did look at the various blade chargers I have and didn't no see markings indication Nimh or Lipo charger. Dave at GOHBEE was very helpful and they have good prices on both MS Composite night blades and their own new GOHBEE nightblades.

on the ms blades the nimh have round pins and the newer blades made after march this year have square pins. The tail blades have the lipo.both styles have 3 pins the pin nearest to the blade root is ground the middle pin is + positive and the pin nearest to the tip of the blade is ground to the LEDs.You charge on the two pins nearest the root .New charger is .18ma for 10-11 hrs.The plug that is used to turn the blades on when in use shorts the outer pins together...IE completes the ground to LEDs. If you put the charger on the wrong pins it will light the blades.

If you want another small charger then send me a PM with your address and ill see about sending you the charger from one of my older black Align 325 night blades. I have 3 chargers now for 1 pair :).
