Just flew my Titan tonight and when I flew her in idle up she was like a nodding dog on the parcel shelf of my car!!!!!!!!!!
Anyway my throttle curves are 100% across all 5 points so not too sure what the problem is(can't be slow head speed), i do have a metel head on her bought from a certain auction site but to be fair this is top dog.
Any ideas anybody

What kind of metal head?
Are you using metal upper & Lower mixing levers?
Is the tail going up and down?

If your running lots of head speed and it's still doing it I'd check the tail blades and make sure they are balanced. Bad head dampers maybe..... check those too. I've heard of softening them up a bit with pliers.

Cheers Dude
Will do this
1 thing though I flew her last night and did not have any problems
inverted, hovering, rolls, loops etc all fine and no nodding
Strange

lube your head dampeners with silicone grease/paste

Bobbing up and down is a symptom of low head speed in relation to how tight the dampening is. Increase head speed or as suggested lube the dampeners.

sorry for jacking a bit here, but Bob... I have this on my raptor 60..... up and down tail... not too slow, almost like a fast tail wag, only up and down.... I now recently lubed my head dampers ans softened them a bit ( i read somewhere to do that)... still have to try it now.

I'm not sure of my head speed, but my blades are really "singing", there seems to be more than enough, what is recommended headspeed for a 60 sized bird, GCT Excite blades.... anyone?

Over a year ago when I had a Raptor 50 and used the harder red dampeners, I would gett a bobble if my nhead speed was below 1800. I ran my 50's at about 1900 to 1950 in idle up.

ok, will def check my head speed...... but mine seems to go away with lower headspeed...
Friend of mine had the same thing, he dropped his throttle EPA in order to fly in "lower" motor revs..... it sorted him out.... but his was always fine, only started doing that after many flights....

I did lube the dampeners and feather shaft, also softened them, and I'll check my head speed....

What is a dafe headspeed for a 60 with glass blades?

Yea, my Raptor e550 does that too when I'm about to land in normal mode as the headspeed gets way low!!

Just lubed the dampeners but still got the wobble
I worked out the headspeed to 3030rpm is this too high?

Battery Pack: Three cell (3S) - 11.1 v
Main Gear Teeth: 150
Motor Pinion: 13 Teeth
Motor Kv: 3500rpm/v
Drag Co-Efficient: .90 % .
Target Head Speed: 3030

I don't wish to high jack your thread, but DAMN! they charge for shipping!!

3030rpm does seem high but, I will step aside and let someone more knowledgeable than I address your headspeed. Finless?

Sorted
just changed the head dampeners to new ones and she is back to her old self (perfect)
Just goes to show that just because it looks OK dont mean that it is,the dampeners I took of looked perfect to me.
