Hi,

I am wondering how to remove from the old frames the bearings and mounts that support the shaft with the cyclic bellcranks and transport them to my new Rotorworkz frames (parts 81 and 82 in the manual).

Are they just pressed in? How do I remove and reinstall them?

They don't seem to come out easily... there must be a disassembly step I am missing.

Thanks.

Press the bearing out of the frame use 2 sockets. One just a tiny bit smaller than the bearing holder and another large enough to fit around the bearing holder. Chuck this all up in a vice or C-clamp and press them out.

There is a flange on the inside edge that will be removed when you do this but no big deal.

One thing I did with mine was to chuck them up with a bolt and nut in my drill. Then I ran a file on the lip to clean up the edges. Now they are easy to move from frame to frame.

I heard it on the grape vine that when the new frames start showing up they will have the bearing retainer installed. Oh and I think a nitro frame is just around the corner also.

Thanks for the idea. Will do.

What does it mean? Doesn't the 600N come with a nitro frame?

A RW nitro frame. Interesting stuff on the way, or so I hear. ;)
