Greetings All:

I am putting together my E325 and I am presently working on the head. http://www.runryder.com/img/smilies/eek.gif

The long link that crosses the mixer arms on both sides of the head almost touches the mixer arm and also the built-up area around where the screw goes in on the mixer arms.

I have looked around the various forums and have found nothing that really answers my problem. There is quite a bit of replacing the head parts with metal and also the Align T-Rex brand of head parts. I prefer to leave mine stock until I can fly it with one eye shut like some of you guys!! http://www.runryder.com/img/smilies/tongue.gif I don't know if I use metal if that would fix the problem or not.

Some of the pictures I have seen in the magazines are showing the link crossing at the front of the arm where there is no possible rubbing danger.

What have I done wrong??!! http://www.runryder.com/img/smilies/frown.gifhttp://www.runryder.com/img/smilies/mad.gifhttp://www.runryder.com/img/smilies/confused.gif

Thanks for any and all help you can give me.

I remain

Brian http://www.runryder.com/img/smilies/cool.gif

Sounds like you have the arms on the wrong way around to me, go back and double check the manual drawings against your build.

I second that. Did the same thing. Went online and found a picture and low and behold this mixer was built backwards. BTW, whats with all the RunRyder banners?

Can happen to anyone, best to double check everything closely and hopefully you'll pick it up but asking what seems like a silly question is far better than having a pile of bits ;)
