Well here it is, The Trex Nitro Pro - "VERSION 5" (Color Scheme Fixed, Head Stiffness Increased, Tail Speed & Stability Fixed, New Muscle Pipe added to model, Updated Piro rate & Skid Error Fixed),
This Trex was modeled from my new actual Model. All dimension & Mass are accurate.
I taught myself 3ds Max during this process, What a great program.

The model is on the Knife Edge Swap pages I will attach a link
http://www.knifeedge.com/forums/downloads.php?do=file&id=2910

And for all those picky People out there.
Yes I did start with the sample Heli. to get the right Hierarchy and then modified and replaced all critical parts.

I hope everyone who downloads this model enjoys it.

Check back as I am sure to update things.
Post request to me if you like an Update, I will do them as I get time.
(1200 Downloads of Previous versions)

If your a having trouble with importing TRY the following

Go into realflight and select a different model.

Then go into manage user files under the Simulate Menu and delete the Trex Model you had imported.

Now Re Start Realflight and then Try Importing
the New Trex Version 5 file again.

Now this is the Important Part !!!!
Select the model from the Select Aircraft menu not from the list of last loaded models that appears
at the bottom of the select aircraft menu.

All feedback comments are welcome
Post request to me if you like an Update, I will do them as I get time.

Another user of Kmax had the same problem with not being able to find the texture file
he told me the solution which I had done and want someone to Verify

all I had to do was

Make sure your FUSELAGE does NOT have the ~CS_ prefix
otherwise the export process does not create a Rootframe
and will generate that error every time you try to import.

Ok so I have version 6. (what a joke) Sorry guy's but I am doing my best with no one to help test

If someone can P.M. me with there home e-mail I will send it to them Version 6 to verify
once this is done I will re-post

i have RF 3.5 , with expansion pack 1 and 2 ,

How do you import this model?

I tried putting the plng3 file in the custom folder but it tells me when i restart rfG3 that the 600 variant is based on a model i don't have? what is it based on?

also tried to import the KEX file , it tells me it can't find the texture file???

Help? ,

The model seems to want to tuck its nose under (dive) in high speed forward flight. Anybody else notice this? I once saw the same behavior in my 600E when one of the paddles was misaligned.

how about someone doing a yellow canapy Like the yellow plastic one .

It's easy to do one yourself, There are many guide on how to. but basically
when you have the white scheme load in realflight.

go to the aircraft menu and select save color scheme as.

Then name it Trex 600 nitro pro - Yellow.

Now browse to the folder c:\program files\realflight G3\Colourschemes\

and look for the file Trex 600 nitro pro - Yellow.Tga

Then all you do is take a photo of your canopy from both sides and overlay it over my white one

The edges of the photos have to match pretty good so you will have to stretch it a but until you get it right.

Once that is done, re open realflight select the yellow color scheme and there you have it

a trex with a yellow canopy.

Pretty simple hey!!!

Enjoy

Well.i just downloaded this thing about a 1/2 hour ago...and i love it! It worked awesome except for in regular throttle mode , you get some pretty bad headshake for some reason. In idleup 1 i left it at 2100 and in idle up 2 i bumped it up to 2200 and she fly's great. I did add 1 degree of pitch in neg/pos making it a total of 13 degree's both ways , not that it needed iot and it seemed to hold up really well. I'm excited , and hope the real T-rex 600 N fly's like this one.

Just wanted to say thank you for making this model!! I know it takes alot of personal time to do stuff like this and i appreciate it a bunch!

This will stop the blade shakes
Airframe -> Fuselage -> Heli Mechanics -> Main Rotor -> Paddle
Mixing Ratio 100%-->40%

I will fix it up when I do the Red color scheme next week.

Wait for version 7
