Has anyone come up with a way to manage all the power supplies, chargers and cables one tends to accumulate over the years? Since I don't have much space, (and everything gets too dusty anyway) I leave everything in it's original box until I need to use it. I waste an inordinate amount of time unpacking, setting up, repacking and putting away-What I need is a portable power station "suitcase", something I can yank out of the closet and plug in, maybe with a drawer that extends to access the various buttons. I've done a lot of searching and as far as I can tell something like this is not commercially available.

I can't be the only one with this problem, so I thought I'd pick your brains and see what sort of solutions my fellow Freaks have come up with.

I picked the biggest original packaging box and stripped out all the non-essential packing crap and stuffed the chargers and PS into that box. All the cables/adapters etc are stuffed into a big Zip-Loc bag and laid across the top of it all. The box still pretty much closes normall with only a slight bulge across the top..

Longevity is suspect as the box is getting... tattered. :)

I saw a nice alum "suitcase" at Harbor Freight last week for like $20. It'd be perfect for this task with a little bit of work. I'll try and get a SKU# for it...

I'm facing that particular problem myself. Never occured to me to try Harbor, I'll go poke around and see what I can come up with.
Will probably have to fabricate something myself. I wonder if aluminum heatsink comes in large sheet sizes? Wouldn't be too hard to bolt together a case using that stuff. A box could be built in the appropriate size with a surge protector mounted in the rear to plug everything into. The surge cord could run out a grommet and wrap around cable stays when not in use. Power supplies could be bolted to the bottom and chargers mounted on a sliding tray, maybe drill a few holes for PC fans to keep everything cool.

Hmmmm. Now all I need is a group of naked wenches to put it together and I'm good to go. I'll get ahold of RCHeli and see if they've got any to spare.
