Kinda confusing...is it a 46 class machine? It says engines from 32-40. Are the engine mounting holes for a 30 sized engine? Why call it a "4"?
I had heard the caliber-3 is rather lame. Is the 4 just as bad? Should I just stick with my caliber-30s and caliber-5s?
Thanks!

Man its gone quiet in here! I have a Caliber 3 that I have converted to something near Caliber 4. Only difference is I put a Caliber 5 head on it and fitted an OS37. Its flying characteristics have improved out
of sight. In stock form the Caliber 3 was a dog. The changes made to produce the Caliber 4 make it very much like the Caliber 30. Still not sure about the head on it though. Same design as the Caliber 3 which had a lot of slop and a nasty phasing problem. Maybe the new gear ratio will help with that. The good news for Caliber 30 owners is an ongoing source for parts.

I think the caliber 4 is basically the caliber 3 with all the upgrades and electronic mixing instead of mechanical.

How many parts do you have to change to use a Cal 5 head?
Then again I will probably soon bury it in the field, and then I guess it will be a TZ 50, almost a Raptor and nice and cheap.
