I just need puter to run G3 and maybe play a old game i have laying around. I have G2 sim right now and its hi time to upgrade. All my puters are old so dont laugh....The one Im on now is from 1999, it barely plays internet heli vids. It does what me and the wife needs so we keep it...
My puter from louisiana was newer bought in 2003 it ran G2 like a dream! I just paid a shop 25$ to tell me that the MB has a bulging capacitor and the P.Supply is shot. Rita hit us pretty good. It has:
soyo kt400 MB
AMD athlon xp2200
512mb ddr ram
40 gig HD
ATI radeon 9000 pro vid card
CDRW
CDROM
Im told if I get a another AGP ?? MB I can maybe reuse the undamaged components. I really just want to get a puter that will run G3 decently and save my $$ and get the wife a dream Mac in a year or two.
The shop gave me this list...Im not sure what Im looking at spec wise..they sell barebone systems
