went on a two week vacation.

figuring i would have time to practice on the sim (i didnt, which makes this even worse), i packed my futaba T9CHP in my carry on.

flying home, we had to take a commuter flight, and they took the carry on.....thought it was packed well, but apparently not enough.

they impacted the front, and broke the lcd screen.

when i turn it on, nothing comes up on the screen at all. but the leds go on and it seems to be fine otherwise.

so two questions;

how to i get it fixed? does futaba fix this sort of thing?
any way to transfer the models to the campac before i send it in? at least that way i can maybe borrow a radio to fly with. trouble is i cant see the display, so i dont know what buttons to push, nor it it is working.

thanks,

mark

I would contact the airlines first asap & see what they can do. they should be able to do something since they where the ones that damaged it by mishandling the carryon. If they can't or won't, contact hobby services.
