hi guys i am really confused on which simulator to buy.i tried phoenix and realflight g3.5 from a friend
and phoenix is much better IMHO but i really dont know comparing it with reflex xtr 5.04.

Can somebody help.I am interested in physics more than graphics.i want to understand which one
phoenix or reflex is more accurate to the reality.I own a TREX 600 and a TREX 450 and a good thing
in phoenix is that its already built in.In reflex i show some people made these models. Are they accurate
comparing to reality?

Need to understand the basic differences of Phoenix and Reflex.

Also i have to say that i sent some emails to phoenix guys to ask them for some details and i was shocked
by their quick response.it seems to have a killer support.

Any advise would be nice
Thanks

I used Reflex for a year before I traded it for Phoenix. With the latest release of Phoenix you get the best heli sim on the market at this moment imho......
There's even three T-Rex 600's in there now: XL, sport and 3D. With a bit of random gusts and wind the simulation is getting more near perfection with every upgrade.

One of the reasons I sold Reflex is that, in spite of being one of the most expensive sims, the people at Reflex where to arrogant to answer to even the most simple issues........

I too sold my Reflex and bought Phoenix. It's just a better sim in my opinion.

I also could not live with the "Red Wall" in Reflex...

You will be happy with either, but Phoenix is goodness.

Pheonix :thumbup:is my vote, and I ve used them all including FS One:thumbdown:. Phoenix seems to be the most realistic imo .

I learn on the aerofly pro deluxe. Just curious to know how you would compare it with the Phoenix?
I like the possible wind setups both force direction and gush wind. At least the heli is behaving a bit more realistically. The sceneries are pretty good. As I only have this one I can't compare with the phoenix.

I too am using Aero Pro Deluxe, and was wondering how it compared to Phoenix.

Has anybody used both?

Thanks,

I don't try Phoenix but i have try G3.5 Aerofly Deluxe and Reflex.

All i can say is that for heli the best is Reflex and in second position G3.5.

For aeroplane Aerofly is great.

So if many people say that Phoenix is better than Reflex for heli no doubt that it is far better than Aerofly.

I used Reflex for a couple of years, then tried Phoenix. I have now switched to Phoenix.

I like their support, and the simulator is getting better and better as they fix problems. They don't have too many models yet, but are adding at regular intervals.

I manly fly the T-Rex 450, The Mini-Titan, and the Raptor 50-3D as they are closest to my birds (T-Rex 450, Lepton EX, E-EVO 50, and Fuel EVO 50).

I don't think that you can go wrong with the Phoenix Simulator.

These are people in the Phoneix forum to naturally it is a biased population ;-)

Phoenix is my first sim so I cannot compare it to others sims. I selected it based on the general reviews and am happy with my selection.

I can tell you that the customer support at Phoenix is first rate, they sent a new cable within 24 hours of reporting a problem and are quick to reply to tech questions as well. Money well spent.

I also sold Reflex for Phoenix as I felt the helis were a little better in Phoenix and the planes quite a bit better. AFPD I still feel has the edge over both of those for planes, but the helis are pretty terrible imho.

If you can have only one, I would suggest the following based on what you fly:
Helis only = Reflex or Phoenix
Planes only = AFPD
Helis and Planes = Phoenix

Hope that helps.

I have Real Flight 3.5 and bought Phoenix few weeks ago. Since then I didn't use RF once. Phoenix looks much more realistic. I set up my heli in sim to be more difficult to control than in real so when I can do some maneuver in sim I am sure I can do it with my real heli. Money well spent, about 60 flights so far and only 1 small crash with almost no damage.

I started with G2, then bought Reflex . Later bought G3.5 and Phoenix.

For helis Phoenix is the best sim Out there, no question.
