Hi,

I bought a heli 2nd hand and it has a Duralite Plus Lithium-ion 2800 mah-7.4 4 cell-2s2p with charge safe ciruit.

I am trying to chrage it with a TP 1010C at 2cell 400mah but when I check the voltagw at the yellow lead it registers ZERO volts....At the black end(output) I measure 7.9volts....Should I be able to measure voltage at the yellow end? I know it has a 8.4volt protected circuit at the yellow side? Because I register Zero volts at the yellow side, my Tp1010 thinks the polarity is wrong and wont charge it...When I connect the TP 1010C?

Thanks for the help. BTW I dont care if it voids the warranty...I am buying a new batter anyways but want to use this to set it up.

The charge safe is fried, might as well go ahead and get your new battery.

Q. I get a voltage reading off the black lead but not off the yellow and the charger does not seem to be able to charge up the pack.
A. The balance safety circuit has shut down. Contact Tech Support at 1-877-744-3685 for a Return Authorization.

So should I go for another duralite 4300 or fromeco 5200? Also, anyone know where I can order 1 tomorrow and have it shipped to me in NY by Thrusday?

Thanks

• Always use the DURALITE Charger™. Failure to do so may result in damage
to the battery, diminished capacity or shortened cycle life. The product warranty
will be void if the DURALITE Charger™ is not used.

You can send the battery with the F/S circuit that is bad in for replacement.

Looks like they beefed up the FS to take a 1amp charge now and you can use other chargers. yay its about time.

Duralite has unbelievable customer service...I call them and told them I had a battery about 1.5 years old with the circuit burnt out. They told me to send it in and they would test the cells and advise if it worth repairing.

Fast service and no charge for the repair.....
