Hi to everybody

Man on the way up
I'm thinking about buying a dx7 with 4 ds821servo's and ar7000 receiver to go along with the futaba 401 gyro, but Question is can I get away with the dx7 servo on the tail or do I go with the servo that I can buy with the 401.
As I'm a newbie to the trex600 and wont be doing 3d for a long time to come dose it really matter which way I go.

You should buy the gyro combo with that servo designed for the gyro = to minimize problems, and get best performance. Good luck.

I'm using the ds821 servos except for the tail. I just didn't think it was going to be fast enough.

Ditch those servos, get the DX from Esprit Models as a transmitter/reciever and get some decent servos and for heavens sakes dont use one on the tail, a 401 will tear that to pieces.

The cost of a crash due to a sheared output shaft will far excede the cost of some decent servos like 9252's
