So I've been lusting about a Logo 500 for a while now, but some guy at the flying field mentioned he had a Logo 10 he wanted to sell. I didn't get any details, because I didn't want to seem over-interested until I did some research.

How do these two helis compare, both in size and performance? I know they can both use the same VBar head, and appear to have similar rotor-span size, but that's about it.

Comments?

Well the Logo 10 is an excellent machine, However the largest improvements of the Logo 5003D are as follows:

Driven Tail, "this is huge" , the Logo 10 is a "non" driven tail

Longer boom on the 5003D allows 550main blades, Logo 10 stock only allows use of 500mm blades

Much more superior frame design of the Logo 5003D allowing use of full suze servos, the Logo 10 you must use medium sized servos max.

In all if you can afford a few extra bucks get the 5003D, I feel it is well worth it. If your friend is selling his 10 dirt cheap and that is what you like rock on.
