Some advice on cracked frame please!

Had a nasty crash after a barrel roll .... gone wrong! cracked the frame on the left battery support and then also cracked the frame at the motor mount next to front allen key that holds aluminium base or motor.

I am running stock standard and am venturing into some mild aerobatics.
do you think there will be a huge issue if I just CA it together ?

Ideally should I replace the entire frame?

If you have another (previously damaged?) frame, take a small section of CF plate from it and use it to laminate over the area of the crack with CA. I've never tried this but I doubled up my tail fin by laminating two together with CA and it worked great.

Plastic frame?

get some dirty cheap fiber glass cloth, cut a small piece and CA it over the crack. As tight as carbon!

CA plastic alone won't last long as CA alone is brittle to hold soft parts (unlike metal to metal).

Hi WOZ!

Had a dumb ass crash myself an cracked the landing gear and the rear frame support for the landing gear. i glued it back on with 5min epoxy. It is as hard as new. wouldn't believe it my self at first. This stuff is good we use it at work very often.

I hope you find a working solution for your mess!

Thanks guys , did finally do the epoxy quick set thing - Rock hard ! less messy than the fibreglass and more wife friendly.........know what I mean !!
Did it in the kitchen infront of the microwave while she was doing dinner .......it's good to be a man !!!! Only joking dear !!
