I have two MaxAmps 2100 3S lipo packs that I am trying to charge with my new Cellpro 4s charger. I bought these packs used and believe they have the hyperion balance taps. So I ordered with the charger, the adapter for TP and PQ packs, found here;

The battery has been working fine, and I have been charging it with my old GA-003 charger that came with my Walkera 5#4 heli which is good for two and three cell lipos. Now the batteries tap connects fine into the ports for the PQ packs on the adapter board, but when I do this I get error 28 on the charger which means "Pack detect failed". Like I said before, the battery is fine as I've been using for some time, and each cell voltage is good.
What I'm thinking is the tap is a hyperion type, but is wired differently. The tap has 5 holes, but only four wires going into the tap. The first one is red, and the other three are black, with the last hole without a wire in it. When I hook up my volt meter with red to red, and black to black, the voltage reads the correct polarity on the battery.
I have also set the mode to 1.0C, lipo, 4.20V
Anyone know what might be going on?
