Hello Guys,

I'm currently flying my E325 using FlightPower EVO 25 3S1P 2170mah (176 gr).

Does anybody have experience with a EVO 20 2500mah (209grams) pack on the E325?
Is the weight still ok? Do you get more fly time?
The weight difference is about 33 grams.

Is it worth buying the 2500mah instead of the 2170mah ones?
Currently I have 2 x 2170mah packs and I get about 8 minutes flying time per pack.

What is the difference between the EVO-20 and EVO-25 sets?

thanks

Finless fly this pack on trex450. Seems that you can add another 25-30 sec. of flight time but with 30-35gr. heavier. I think that your packs is the best out there with 2070 25C thunderpower.

Thanks, so I guess I will stay with the 2170Mah packs (for the few seconds more its not worth it I guess)

Another question: I charge my 2170Mah using the charger set to 2200Mah for all my loads.
Can I safely increase the Mah for faster charging on the field? If yes, to what Mah can I increase it safely?

Thanks

Charger cannot extend battery capacity . Overcharging a Li-po could be very dangerous . The mAh setting of most chargers is for safety cut off purpose only . The charger should stop charging when each cells voltage reach 4.2V . The longest charging time is spent on charging the last 10% of capacity . Charging the pack to 95% will be much faster and safe to do so . I just charged a pack of 2200mAh Kongpower 25C battery to 95% capacity in 42 Min @ 1C. The same pack will take 1Hr14Min to charge to 100% . In both cases, I discharged cells voltage to 3.7V before charging . I hope this can help and sorry for my English .

Are you asking if you can safely increase the charge rate? Flightpowers EVO20 packs are certified to 2.5C with a reduction in the number of cycles. The EVO25 packs are rated for higher but I can't find them on their website.

If you charge above 1C you should keep a very close eye on them.
