Is there any online hobby shop that sells a more reasonably priced Mikado Logo 600 3D? I've checked Espiritmodel.com (taking pre-orders) and Aeromodel.com for this heli and both have it priced at $569 which I believe is the MSRP price. Any other hobby dealers that may have it a little cheaper?
If your looking to get things cheap you might want to reconsider a Mikado.

That's going to be the price of the kit anywhere you go.

Well, looks like I've got no choice then. When I meant "cheap" I didn't mean to be really dirt cheap. There are other RC Heli kits out there that are a bit reasonably priced besides the MSRP. I was just hoping that there'll be a hobby dealership that may have a bit of a competetive price to sell. But since there ain't any, then I guess I have to wait just a little bit before buying. Probably before Christmas and a present to myself. Part of my budget is not only getting the heli kit itself, but also buying the whole accessories needed to get the bird running. That means buying another ESC, Motor, Battery, Receiver, Servos, Gyro.. etc. etc. all together with the heli kit.
Thanks for the input.

You know maybe if you call some of the dealers explaining that your going to drop about $3000 on them, buying a large lot of stuff. They may be willing to make you a deal. I'd contact www.mofefos.com and talk to them.

Thanks Lith. I tried the link but somehow I get a 404 error. As I can see from your sig your future heli is also a Logo 600...good choice. I actually got inspired when I watched Daniel Jetschin whoop out the Logo 600 3D to the max at the IRCHA 2007 video that Debian Dog provided. That heli is freakin fast and agile. Probably the fastest moving and flying E-heli I've seen to date. I'd like experience it for myself.

Hehe :)
I think It had that effect on most of us.
Apart from the good flight character the heli shows in the videos we have to realise that Daniel is a exeptional talented RC Pilot :noteworthy and the heli was flying on 10S and a Vstabi unit.
Inside my head: Want one...want one...want one ;)

Yeah you're right about that one. Daniel's the man!!!!! He sure knows to whip that bird the way he wants it done. I saw in youtube another video of him flying the Logo 600 3D with a video cam focus on his controller. Man that guy should be called the "shaky stick man". He moves those gimbal stick like they were a joystick in an arcade game. If I ever get my own, I doubt that I would be able to pull stunts like he does. But overall it's nice to have a peice like to to fly around and own. lol.
BTW, thanks again Lith for the link. I'll get ahold of them.
The video you are talking about is on RR
