Are Thunderpower batteries really that much lighter than Flightpower? I weighed one of my older TP 1320's and it was about .3oz heavier than what was listed on their site.

I'm asking because I'm trying to decide whether to buy TP's or FP's in 2100 3S form for my T-rex. FP's pack is listed as .5oz heavier, but I'm wondering how real these numbers are?

I'm also looking at both companies Balancers wondering which one is best...?

Thanks!

I just bought a FP Evo 25, 2170 mAh, 3s, 11.1 v haven't put connectors on it. Hasn't been charged yet, fresh out of the package, it weighs 173.4 gms. it states 174 gms. on the web site, so that's pretty darn close, and their scales are probably better than mine

My TP pro lite is 40g lighter than my Electrifly 20C batt, but the TP is only 15C. I personally like the performance of the lighter lower C TP batt. I think the higher C TP extremes are comparable to the other batts weights, though..

TP 6s1p 5000 packs are about 40-50 grams lighter then FP, suspect its all in the build method rather then cells though (FP using more stuff to secure the cells)
