Hello Everyone,

I've been lurking for awhile trying to decide on whether to buy a 600N or 600E. Coming from exclusively electric helis (Honeybee FP, CX2, CP2, SEv2), I was a little nervous about going gas. After much consideration, I think I've made the right choice. I love the convenience and cleanliness of the electrics, but the cost of the big batteries on the big helis doesn't make sense for me. My thinking is that in the next 1-2 years those battery prices will be coming down and perhaps then I'll bite.

I'm very HAPPY with the price I got my Pro for. I was originally going to get the 600 Sport but I've never been crazy about maintaining and adjusting the belt on my SEv2. I was especially happy that my lhs matched amainhobbies price of only $499.99 for the Pro version (they had it listed at $599.99).! I think I got a good deal.

I have a lot of research and more $ to spend to get this bird in the air. So far I have special ordered the following parts: Align servo wheels (for every manufacturer since I don't know what servos I'll be buying yet), an Align metal fan, Align Gyro mount and an Align starter extension.

I will be ordering a Thunder Tiger R90 clutch lining to replace the stock unit and will also buy a new one way bearing from Boca. My goal is to address some of the weak points I have read from my initial research in order to minimize future headaches.

I have a lot of work ahead of me, but I'm looking forward to it! :D

Welcome to the club, the tail power and holding on the Pro version is amazing, as good as on very high-priced 90-size helis.

Sounds like you have got it all sorted.

last year I had to decide to go elec, or nitro I really wanted the 600 as I already had the 450se but when I worked out the cost of elec to nitro, and the amount of flight time I would get, the nitro came out on top.. but the 600n was not out..

So I got a raptor titan, and i have to say that I am very pleased she flys nice, but I have been thinking about getting myself a 600n.. I think I will have too.

any way good luck with your bird.. keep us posted on how your build is going.
