i toyed with moving the boom supports down onto the skids but in a crash i think it might do more damage... dunno if its such a good idea

Hi, is the carbon frame lighter?
In the last picture of the rear brace behind the fuel tank. Why not extend it downwards so that you could lose the aluminium spacer below it - one less part to worry about?
