I have been flying my almost stock Hurricane now for 2 months, with evo 2500 packs and a flat 100% throttle curve, RCP carbon blades and Raptor longer flybar. I really like this heli and have been flying it fairly hard, basically all it can do with the stock motor, continueous flips, rolls, inverted, FFF into flips loops, funnels etc. but I am not a stick banger and not doing hard tic -tocs with it, or any pitch dumping

I am just not sure on the Plastic grips, some say the metal are a must, and others are doing more then me with a better power system with no problems on plastic.

I'd say that if you stick at the stock headspead I'd say you're oke with the plasic grips. That was how GAUI designed them, and I'm sure they took acrobatics into account as well. If you increase your headspead then you realy should go with cnc grips since the plasic ones were not designed for that.

They are fine for stock motor and head speeds.

thanks,

I am looking to go with the new 1100kv 1000w motor Readyheli is selling h18/11. and hoping for headspeed around the 2000-2100, but I haven't done any calculations yet. so at what point are the grips a problem?
