I want ed to run to 4s packs in my hurri? the dimensions are 27mm thick/45mmwide and 148mm long .Has anyone tried to get anything this sise in their hurricane without mods?
My 2nd option is packs that are 20mm/45/147. but these are 6s and i wanted to stay hv.

If anyone else is running 2 3300mah packs what size and brand were they.

Hi!

I use a pair of KOKAM 3S 3200 30C (2C charge) which has:

145mm x 45mm x 27mm @ 305gramm

Fit without any mods below the canopy.

Hi!
Doesn't it depend on which frame you have? From what I know the CF frame is different.

Hi there!

I use a pair of Multiplex 3s 3200mAh 20C L/B/H 141/41/19 They Fit perfect and the birds balance is mutch better than with the smaller FP 3s 2500mAh 25c packs i have. But i tried 3s 4800mAh 20c pack and they wont fit at all without canopy mod.but the balance would be perfect and the flighttimes too. But for the hard 3D guys the Bird will be to heavy i think.

It's a big discussion with this Bird. It depends on you style of flighing i think. Can you life with the extra wight and drop in climbout performance but an increase in flight time or are you an hard core low wight high performance dude!

I'm using the new E-Flight 3cell 3200 20c packs, and they fit level with no mods. They also only cost 99 bucks each. Well I say no mods. To get the fiberglass body to fit without batteries you have to make a new mount hole closer to the edge.
