All of the standard descriptions of the Maxi-Joker 2 say that it can lift a payload of UP TO 2 Kg, which isn't very much, considering the $3500 investment and 6 Kg empty weight. Most helis can lift somewhere close to their own weight. I think my T-Rex could easily lift 2 Kg, and probably a lot more. Talking to the guys on the phone, they say the Maxi Joker 2 can lift up to 10 lbs. That's a BIG difference from what the factory specs state, and considering the guys on the phone have a vested interest in selling you their product, I'd be more inclined to believe the 2 Kg number. Anybody have first-hand experience with this?
Thanks!

given the proper power combo a Maxi can lift 10lbs. More if you want to reduce flight times and stress components

Thanks, that's good to know. Seems to me like the Joker is the best quality machine of its size.

on 720's the most I would go with a front mount is 15lb. With an underslung it could get hairy at more than 12lb
you can slide a front mount in with a good deal of forward speed to maintain lift through touchdown. With underslung you can have only a very little lateral movement lest you risk a tip over.

would you say that a joker2 with HP370 and a 10S lipoly setup a powerful combo?
