Every 4 of 5 revolutions of the main shaft to belt seems to get real stiff,
after looking at it, i think the notches in gear and belt fail to line up perfect, building
extra tension making rotor rotation real resistant. This is my first nitro heli, anyone know why this would happen and how bad it really is and how i might fix it. Thanks for any help.

If the belt tension is too loose it might be able to jump a tooth. That is the only thing I can think of other than a damaged belt. Has this belt been in a crash? I had a couple of belts that had a few teeth partially torn off from a crash and were very hard to see. Inspect the belt carefully and try to bend each tooth separately to see if any are coming off.

No Crash........yet but i'll take a closer look at the teeth, another thing I was thinking is mabye it could be stretched, I have pulled it over the drive gear a few times while taking the tail on and off. But I don't know what the average belt life span is. I'll try it a little tighter too. Thanks for the info
