Has anybody converted their Freya to the Avant? I'd like to see one up close before ordering the conversion kit! :?: :!:

I have. I'm almost done with the build. I try to only work on it for a couple hours a day( radio set-up and etc). The weather here isn't that great so I'm not in a hurry to finish it.
I have converted my It is alot of fun to fly. It has a light weight feel to it and seems to be very stable with extreme cyclic movement to it. I love to fly it. You can pitch push-up all day long. I hacked up an old freya canopy to fly it today. It was pretty ugly!

I started my build late yesterday. I'm very impressed with the fit and the instruction manual is one of the best with the pictures on the SAME page as the instructions. YOU READING THIS MINIATURE AIRCRAFT??? :shock:

It was a lot fun to build. Very thing fit in nicely Remember that the blade grips are flip for the standerd freya. Which is lead edge

The standard Freya has trailing edge grips.
The Avant will be leading edge grips

Just got my first couple of hovering runs in on my Avant in my yard. I thought a Fury had a light feel to it but this thing is INCREDIBLE! :shock: As fast as it is on collective pitch mine is very smooth on the cyclic, not jumpy or nervous. I do have around 20% expo dialed in from my Freya settings and it seems about right for hover work. I think I'm going to hack up a Freya plastic canopy so I can get some flights in this weekend. :D :banana

Finally finished the Avant. It was a nice build. I hope it flies as well as it builds
