Can the upgraded tail box be used on the 500dx?

I'm building my 500DX. Can the upgraded CF tail box be used on this boom? I hate the cheap plastic ones.

Also, any servo recommendations? I'm looking for smooth AP flight.

Yes, the CF tail box can be used on the 500DX.

Servo choices are wide open since you can use standard size servos.

For the servos, is full size better? I probably want a digital, but not too pricey...maybe Futaba S3151 or 3050?

A very economical servo to buy in full size fashion is the Futaba 9252, works good and gear sets are cheap.

BTW the carbon tailcase you guys are talking about, is that #3062?
