Hi all I just got one of the new Flightpower 2500 mah for my Trex450se. I just got done installing the Deans plug on the battery and went to charge it with my Tp 1010 and my Tp 210 balancer.

The Balancer plug does not fit the Tp 210, the plug looks the same as the one on my old my Apex 2100 mah pack just that it's black instead of white. The Fp balancer plug will fit in the female connection on the balancer but just falls out . The Apex plunged in fine and locked it with the clip.

I just did a search and found nothing about Flightpower balance plug and Tp 210 balancer. Any thought's as what I can do would be help . Is there an adapter some place I can by.

Hmm, newer FP packs are supposed to have the exact same plug as the TP packs/chargers. My two new FP 25C EVO 2170s work fine with my 210V.

Older packs did use a different balancer plug. I have an older 3700 5S pack, that FP send me an adapter to use.

I found out what the problem is with the Balancer plug . It is the same as TP but Black, the plug was not made right.
The little clip on top of the plug that holds the plug in the Balancer was made with an extra peace of plastic on one side. This extra peace of plastic would not allow the clip to pivot up and down so the plug could not seated in the balancer all the way and the clip engaged. I contacted FP about this and have not gotten a reply as of yet.
I asked FP if they could send me a new Balancer plug. I was able to cut the plastic out of the one side and get the plug to seat but the clip does not work now. So I have to be careful not to move it at all while Balancing it. Thought you all would like to know.

I hate those little clips that hold it from sliding out. I know it's unorthadox but I cut my balancer retaining clip off all my pack. It's a lot easier to plug and unplug. I've never ran into any problems doing this for 2 years.
