Hi Laurens
the cost is not a high as you think
we have prepared a document to compare the costs for glow and electric
http://www.realraptors.co.uk/manuals/realraptors_and_electric.pdf
hope this gives you another view on this
also what JettaTDI2001 posted is correct for the US market TPPacks.com supply the same kit, Real Raptors are the UK distrbutor for TPPacks

Andy your pdf is not 100% right. Also the cost is not a high as you think is relative seen.
- I don't fly 30%.
- You still need the conversion package.
- Add a charger
I think you should add and remove some things. But when you compare this electric isn't really a big difference.

Hi Laurens
you are correct about the bits missing, ive missed of the box cost, which I will correct, but as for the charger, not sure it should be included as the charger can be used for both Gas/Glow and Electric, eg LiPo, Nicads etc
The PDF is only a guide, as everybody will use different fuel types and amounts in a year

Hi Laurens
it wasnt meant to cause confusion, but i will amend the PDF to read a true cost inc the conversion

Add Glowplugs Starter and muffler for glow.
My only fear with the electric helis is a crash cost. If you loose the Batt you are out a lot of money

Hi SteveL
Ive updated the PDF to read correctly, thanks for your observations.
As for the batteries, they are above the skids and inside the Raptor frames, so the possibility of damage should be reduced

Hi SteveL
the new Gen 2 Pro Lites from Thunder Power which we use in the Box conversion are all now repairable, so if you damage a pack, send them back and have them repaired

Hi andys,
Do you have more picture's of the E raptor50 and what is the flighttime with this lipo's (10sp2) configuration.
I am thinking about buying electric heli.

Hi Heli-boy
the flight times are around 7-10 mins dependant on your flying style.
There are some images on our website www.realraptors.co.uk but if you want more specific ones, let me know and i will sort them for you.
