Hurricane 550 Build time

can anyone give me an idea of the approximate hours involved in building a 550?

Hi there

I am a beginner and it took me appxro 8 Hrs to the first test run. But this was my first helicopter to build.
One more thing. I took apart the complete frame and check on all the bearings, all the links and reassembled it again. May be add another hour for soldering the connectors. But thats it. At my first spin i had nor tracking problems at all and zero Vib's. Make sure you balance the stock Tail blades!!

I had it pretty much complete (less electronics) in about 4 hours. It went together lots faster than my trex 450..But I think that is because the head was pretty much done already and didnt need much adjusting.

How much Experience do you have with heli's? It was my first build..didn't find it tooo difficult. I would HIGHLY recommend watching all the Finless build videos before you start. Seems mundane but, you'll save yourself a lot of grief.
