Hello,
I was flying with the stock blades because i tried MS420 carbon blades and they was asking too much to the motor at my opinion. Blade chord is much bigger on the MS than on the stock blades.
I just tried the 3D version of the SAB blades. I was hopping a very good result. Well it's not was i was expecting! The heli is very hard to move and i was hopping for it to be more efficient on the cyclic.
First thing i noticed is the blades weight: 64,0g.
Stock blades 60,6g.
MS-420 51,5g.
I had to remove the weights from the Gorilla prog. paddles to go back to approx the same reactions than with stock blades and the weights in the paddles. The only thing that was better is the loops. They are very easy to do with this blades. The diameter is unbelievable for such a small heli with the SAB blades.
So i have a question: what is the weight of a Mah blade? How does the heli perform compared to the stock blades?
Thanks
Nicolas
