Is anyone aware of any issues with using this charger to charge 5S LiPos? It's supposed to charge 5S, but mine won't.
I have four of these chargers which I use to charge NiCd, NiMH, 3S & 4S LiPos, and lead-acid batteries, and I've never had any problems with them. Today I bought a couple of FP 5000mAh 5S LiPos, and not one of my Prodigy chargers will work with them. They all report "No Battery", on both packs. I've put a meter across the charging leads and both packs read 19.2V, so there's a connection there, and my V-Balancers will balance the cells, so I'm happy that the packs are ok.
Unfortunately I don't have any different chargers that will handle 5S.
Very strange! Anyone have any ideas?
