Lipo’s Dump, Heliproz voltage monitor saves it all!
Same Flight Power ( I think) 2170mh 25C lipos, the two week old one yeiled a solid 8 min flight. Then the brand new one died in about 3+ min? (same type of flying, same charger, balanced with a Blinky) Is there a brake in period for these things? Thank god the on board voltage monitor caught the battery dumping (Thank you Heliproz for recommending that!) and I sat the 450 down a good 60’ away from me. (got lucky she did not tip over, lumpy field) It had 8.78v on the three cell pack right out of the bird, then went up to 9.1v cooling off post flight. It took a charge no problem, also put the Blinky back on that pack.
I have my alarm on the DX7 set for 5 min. Seams like I could set it for 6 min with most of my packs. How do you determine the time?
Is there away to bench test the bats to check their individual performance?
