If you're able to control aileron/elevator, but not throttle, then I had the same problem, I finally got a tip somewhere else, try reducing the throttle subtrim a click at a time until the light turns green

Throttle sub-trim needs to be all the way done.

If the light stays red and doesn't turn green, then check your throttle trim to make sure it is all of the way down. Sub-trims... I have never messed with sub-trims on my CX2 with the DX7.

I tell you what, though, you can do some wicked cool stuff with the DX7 that makes the CX2 into a beast! Or, at least I can go from docile flyer to a beast with the flick of 4 switches. I have dual rates et up for elevator, aileron and rudder and then have elevator, aileron and throttle mixed such that when you apply any of these, it automatically adds throttle input.

It's cool as hell! :smokin:

I just picked up a CX2 to fly indoors for the winter. I just set it up with the DX-7, but am still fairly new to the hobby. What are the chances of getting your radio settings posted up? I'm really excited to unleash the little potential that thing has.

Well, I don't have my radio in front of me, but I can tell you that I have dual rates set up on their respective switches on the TX. I left the curves linear rather than putting on EXPO like a lot of people do. Enabling dual rates is like moving your servo link out one hole on the horn and should only be used when flying outside or in a large space.

All of my travels are set to 100%. No changes there, though some do change the values.

I also have 2 program mixes set up that mix throttle with elevator and aileron. This is selected via the flight mode switch.
