As I was buildng the condor, I reached the bearing blocks page. and Stopped because of the part pictured below (Page 14 of manual).

as you can see I am support to insert screws from the bottom of this block to connect it to the bearing block that holds the clutch bell.
problem is, there are no holes that go throw this long block..

can anyone reconfirm my finding?

Thanks.

I would but my Condor is staying at someone else house right now. :(

Is this the "lower long bearing block", HW6045?

It seems the block is a little different on the Condor than on my gasser. This is the link to my part, but it says "Predators except Condor".

it seems that in the condor, they shaved-off the little extra part that has holes to be connected to the clutch-bell block, so this long block (yes HW6045) is NOT connected in any way with the Clutch-bell block.

strange!

OK here's another one :(

in page 4 of the Carbon Conversion Manual (that came with the condor):

There should be a FLANGED BEARING to be installed into the upper side frames. these are completely missing from the kit ! .. Dan do you at least remember that part? I think its the Flanged 8x12x3.5

I believe the block was cut down to provide clearance for the HD clutch when using the smaller pinions in the Condor to get the necessary gear ratio so swing those big blades.

thats what I though, but I couldn't find my part in heli-world thats why I got suspicious, plus, the part is supposed to be curved to provide the necessary clearance for the clutch-bell.

I did contact century, but I don't believe this is a serious error, so I'll carry on building, except I can't because of them darned flanged bearings :arggg:

I ordered them from towerhobbies (duratrax parts), so building is on hold :(

Yep I went though the same thing with them with my Condor! a freaking hour on the phone with them over a $26 part! My buddy went though this with his Swift blades, as did you. I have heard it many many times. But when I tell people at Century about it at events they do not want to hear it or I get the sad  from the reps like "yeah we know".

We are spoiled here in Canada, since we have the best Century distributor ever.

No problem with advice or parts. I have spare rooms at home if you guys want to move in...
