Front main gear problems

Has anybody had this problem....the front main gear which is secured by two grub screws to the shaft came loose during the first spool up...I retighted them and it happened after 3 or 4 minutes of set up flight.....I am going to(try to) secure the front main by drilling a 2.5 mm hole through the gear bracket and shaft (using a carbide drill bit)...because it gets the main torque of the motor, it should be bolted anyway....any thoughts

I never have that problem before, even I never loctite those 2 hex nuts. THere should be 2 flat surfaces on the shaft to anchor the nuts.
