TBH, I posted this originally in the Trex forum - but I thought, its probably better focused at its target audience here in the newbs section.
If like me you've hit the dirt a few times you'll probably have found the canopy breaks near the back where the mounting posts go, but the front half may well look ok.
Here's a way to trim up and re-fit those damaged canopies, saving £10ukp a throw.......
Now, I won't claim they'll stay on through hard 3D :lol , but then if you're that good you'll not be breaking them so often anyways. If however, you're still a bit of a newb like me, then they will certainly stay on through your fast circuit stuff, stall turns etc.........
Align should really invent a more crash friendly canopy retention method IMO. Oh, well hope this idea saves you guys a few bucks anyhow.
